On Saturday, May 4 from 6-9pm, join me at the California Museum for an evening of camaraderie, savory food, delicious wine, wild entertainment, and acknowledgment of three of the finest physicians we have in our region. Rajiv Misquitta, MD is being presented with the Golden Stethoscope Award, our highest honor, for his devotion to patient care and the medical needs of the community. He's worn many hats in his career, from a lifestyle medicine guru to a vegan cookbook author to a founding member of SSVMS's Joy of Medicine program, and he has always been a physician his colleagues admire. Aimee Moulin, MD is receiving the Community Impact Award, for her work as co-founder and principal investigator of the California Bridge Program, which aims to provide access to buprenorphine and other medications for addiction treatments in the emergency department. Robert LaPerriere, MD is receiving the first ever Outstanding Medical Society Volunteer Award for his decades of service to the Museum of Medical History, making it a truly standout museum. Finally, we’ll also be entertained by the sounds of Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos. Come ready to stump them with your music requests and see what amazing results they turn out. Tickets are available now for $100 through April 19. Proceeds go towards the Medical Student Scholarship Fund. See you there! Vanessa Walker, DO SSVMS President Get My Ticket Now!
